Description: Japanese 5/3 Base Unit is a tetrahedron made with single bolt/Japanese connections; 10 rings minimum are used to make this unit. Japanese 5/3 Base Unit only works well with at least some rings having close to minimal AR. The picture sample is made with stainless steel 16swg 17/128" rings that are 2 in 1 or 3 in 1 with 2.23 AR.
